Thanksgiving: Cultivating a Heart of Gratitude in All Seasons

country homeschool thanksgiving

By Guest Post Author Ingrid Pechin Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Hooray for Thanksgiving! For many of us, it’s our favorite holiday; a time for family traditions. A young lady is setting the table with fine china and real linen napkins, the ones with great grandmother’s carefully embroidered initials in the corner; Read More …

Full of Blessings

By Annette Lanford (Guest Author) “Full of Blessings” is my response when the often-said phrase, “wow, you have got your hands full” is directed to me when I am out in public with my children. I love how it makes the person take a step back and think for a brief second. And, more often than not, I receive a kind response acknowledging and/or agreeing with me. That is how I feel about homeschooling as well; it is such a blessing. When I hear about something that has happened in Read More …

If you are going to endure one of those stresses Read More …

What Is Classical Christian Education?

Begin With the End in Mind I would like to propose a very important question. What do you think is the purpose of education? It is a question that the liberal teacher’s unions and progressive educators have thought much about. It is one you should think about too. I cannot think of a more important question that you will ever encounter as you decide what is the right path for your child’s education. Opening Ceremonies

Opening Ceremonies for Excelsior Classical Homeschool Academy will be in Paradise Valley, AZ August 14th, 4-7pm. It will be a swim party and potluck. Casual attire is fine. Come and get to know the families and each other before the school year officially begins!

Classes start August 16, 2021

It is clear to me that Phoenicians are looking for classical, Christian homeschool groups. We offer community and accountability to conservative families which is what we all want and need. The interest has been so great we have doubled our numbers last year, and again, even during a COVID year, we doubled our numbers. God is so good and bringing really wonderful families to add to our number. May we continue to glorify and honor Him in all that we do, and raise up wonderful children that will follow after Read More …
